A Sadaqa Jariya

The Prophet ﷺ said:

«"When a human being dies, their deeds cease except in three cases: continuous charity, knowledge from which one benefits, or a pious child who prays on their behalf."»

Narrated by Muslim.

A well can thus continue, bi idhniLlah, to benefit the people who use it for a long period of time.

You can perform this sadaqa:

• for a member of your family
• for a loved one
• or in the name of a deceased person
